Spears Lip Syncs In 2018… NO WAY?
The Hollywood Gossip put out this article on January 2, 2018, in response to Britney’s Lip Sync performance at “Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With
Ryan Seacrest”. I thought this was late 2000’s news and here we are in 2018 with
the headlines, “Britney Spears Lip Syncs…”?!?!? But what can I say, we'll always love Britney B****.

Equivocation

My first
look at the latest Britney talk, equivocation fallacies are spotted. Obviously,
she doesn’t literally get put into the oven like a thanksgiving turkey after
she gets caught lip syncing. Any human being born from the 90’s and up, I can
assume they know the more superior Urban Dictionary definition of the word “Roasted”.
2.
Slippery Slope
“It's 2018, and Britney Spears still has a career.
If you'd made that prediction eleven years ago at
the peak of Bald Britney-mania,
you would've been shunned from society and forced to spend your remaining days
in the mountains, shearing alpacas, or something.” (HollywoodGossip)
Woah. Now if that isn’t a roast in itself. As the name says it,
this is undeniably a downward spiral- 2006 Britney- Slippery Slope. Relatively
every aspect of “Hollywood Gossip” is highly exaggerated and totally
unpractical- although if shearing alpacas is the worst they could come up with,
it doesn’t sound that bad after all.

Weak Analogy
“The same haters and losers who want Donald John
Trump to stop tweeting and govern also want Britney to stop being fabulous, and

“AHGHGH! DUDE, WEAK!” – Cartman
Beep beep beep sarcasm radar. This is a weak
analogy, the attempted link between POTUS Donald Trump and 2000's Pop Singer Britney Spears aren’t
relevant to each other. The “same hater and loser”, are more than likely not the same people so that throws this false claim out the window.
