Did the Duchess of Cambridge donate her wigs to charity?

http://www.celebitchy.com/564519/duchess_kate_allegedly_donated_seven_inches_of_hair_to_a_cancer-patient-wig_charity/

Duchess Kate went from having long, unmanageable hair, "like a sausage-curled cotton ball", to a more humble length with appropriate volume. The question here is, did she donate her wigs, or did the charity actually accept her royal hair for little girls to wear?

There are several fallacies in this article. It is heavily based on the authors opinion and the author tries to change your views on the royal before we even get a chance to read the article! She portrays her as a snob and a selfish person with only fame and her own pride in mind. But what does she actually know? Has she met the Duchess of Cambridge? I don't think so.

It starts with Poisoning the Well. Like she has something against the way Kate wears her hair. "Kate’s hair is a mystery wrapped in an enigma, and that enigma is wearing a noticeable wiglet.", she states. She wants the issue that may or may not be there to stand out to the readers right away. I suppose to make the story seem more interesting, but she turns this seemingly very sweet gesture into some kind of fame seeking act.

Then we have the Cum Hoc. Does the fact that she cut her hair really have to do with her apparently donating her wigs? Maybe she took the wigs out and cut her hair because she wanted a change. She comments after reading the story, "I have this image of Kate sitting in her Kensington Palace home-salon, being worked on by six hair stylists, and tossing them one of her wiglets: “Give this to the children!” Then she looks in the mirror and says to herself, “My goodness, I am such a selfless person!”" ALL BECAUSE SHE DECIDED TO CUT HER HAIR! The relationship  between the wigs and the freshly cut hair is a little strange to me. The article is looking pretty hard to make a story out of this.

Now, the entire article is an Appeal to Ignorance. No one knows for a FACT that she actually donated her hair. No one knows for a Fact that the charities accepted any kind of hair, wig or not. No one really knows she wore wigs to begin with. So really, who knows anything except for Kate herself and her hairdressers. We all are stuck in this vicious world of assumptions on who we are and what we do based on some simple thing. Like being a kind human being and donating her hair to little girls in need. Celebrities are especially susceptible to this kind of thing. It really is sad.
