  1. When it comes to advertising - especially food and drinks - practicality is commonly used as one of the main selling points. This is seen in this Borden Instant Coffee ad. They attempt to convince the target audience that their product is superior because it is quick to make, yet flavorful. It does this mainly by visual input, with the image of a busy man who has to drink coffee in the morning, but can’t be late to work.

  2. This ad is geared to the middle class working family. Someone who is in a rush and doesn't have time to fuss. They want something quick and easy just like it is to read this ad. It is simple, to the point and tangible to most folks reading this. The older woman is showing the younger lady the ropes of being a true housewife as well which is something else to note! The text towards the middle of the ad is very fine and hard to read so there may be something else there too.

  3. Overall great ad analysis. I do think you shhould try and maybe justify more and go into detail on what was written on that little important tab on the bottom right. Just because it states its important and i dont think i have yet to see and ad that specifies that. You could definently use that to your advantage. Otherwise great analysis.
