Pelosi "Shames Herself"

One-sidedness: This author is very clearly in favor of Trump and does not hold back from his beliefs. In his article, he makes many points that are very much his opinion and does not really bother to understand where the other side is coming from. He mentions a lot about how well the economy is doing and how Nancy Pelosi is a crazy woman and assumes that we should all think in this way without understanding what the other side might be thinking. This quote especially shows how the author believes we should all be thinking this one way and we are insane if we are to side with Pelosi. There is no mention as to the response the other side may have to Trump’s speech and how they view the current economy. (The economy is, naturally, at the heart of it, and his recitation of record low unemployment, rising wages, soaring consumer confidence and stock markets are so familiar that it is easy to forget how important they are to the health and welfare of millions of families.)

The Fallacy of the Heap: In the beginning of this article, the author makes a claim attempting to question Nancy Pelosi’s competency. He makes a claim saying that Nancy Pelosi must have never been familiar with Albert Einstein based on her actions that he believes to be appauling. There is not merit in this claim, and there is not a real indicator that Pelosi has never heard of Einstein. There is a big jump from the beginning of this quote to the end, and the author believes that there is no way Pelosi knows about Einstein based on her actions when in reality there is a multitude of factors at play that likely don’t have to do with Einstein at all. He is claiming that she can’t possibly be familiar with Einstein based on his observations of her, which are unrelated and have a continuum of possibilities as explanations. (Here’s a question for Speaker Nancy Pelosi: Have you heard of Albert Einstein’s definition of insanity? The one where he says it’s “doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results?” To judge by your conduct, I’m guessing you haven’t. Either that or you think Einstein was an idiot, too.)
