Little Red School House Investigation

Building also known as Joseph Hess School was built in 1859 and was a working schoolhouse. 1869-1896.

Agreed onto Reality

Fact/Truth

A mannequin by teacher’s desk, which the staff has named Mary.

Admitted as Assumptions

Presumption- The Normal

Teachers not allowed to marry, only could date once a month.

A conclusion is drawn from too small a sample of evidence.

Hasty Generalization

The “Mary” Encounters

The young four-year-old said,” this was Mary,” and someone’s nephew concurred.

Admitted as Assumptions

Presumption- The Normal

Doors opening up and downstairs caught on tape recorder.

A conclusion is drawn from an insufficiently representative sample.

Unrepresented Sample

From working with the provided, the conclusion is not enough evidence to prove it is haunted. The encounters were minor, and they only said the name. The doors opening up and downstairs could be structural issues, not inherently haunting. Cannot fully be sure if the doors functional and if their hinges are taken care of.
