American Indian Toolbox

MPR News

The toolbox that I am choosing to use for this picture would be the comic frame. Within the comic frame, the goal is getting others to see the oppression through non-violent movement. The movement is designed to show others how the system is failing and they want to show how ignorant the government is to their own movement.
we can see in the sign to the right that states "How many lies are they going to tell us" and the sign in the middle that says "The U.S Gov't lied to us!! Still breaking treaties" both of these signs show that they have recognized the falling of the government and their end of the deals which they have failed to uphold their deals. This is not aggressive or violent but it does display the government in a light that shows they are not trustworthy and that others should notice these flaws within the system and attempt to change it and at the bare minimum spread the word to influence change.
