Their Value is Abstract.
Loci: This Website uses Quantity they have tons of photos and links to their other sites as well as a donate button.
They use the emotional appeal saying we are not alone we are together as a society.
Presence- Enthymeme This website makes a lot of claims but with not that many evidence.
However it is well credible because it is known throughout the world.
Elaborate more thouroughly throughout presentation in how the mere fact of the crew being known more vastly throughout the world is in connection within specific fallacies or arguments that could be the reasoning for individuals to actually have some real intention of believing every part of their statements. Also, use or go more in depth into the part of the website leaning a lot on the use of loci, being it's ultimate appeal, specifically within their logo as well it appeals to bring in a mass amount of people that are engaged into their platform of radio talk as well. I get the feel from the site itself that it's intention is to sway you in to it's investigations and be engaged primarily in it from the overall essence of their credibility that has been built upon overtime. There are numerical data points that are in there that could be resorted to as that you could use as well that backs up their argumentative statements.
ReplyDeleteI think you need to elaborate with your data and gather more information. You don't have enough material yet to write a strong thesis
ReplyDeleteI'd try to find some more specific pieces of evidence that support your claims while speaking. Perhaps talk about why it is deemed a credible site despite weak evidence and poor grammar/structure? They have a cast known throughout the world (which is also indicated by the site visits,) rely on loci w/ little evidence, and use emotional appeal. Discuss how each element can still draw in readers despite it having obvious problems and how it's popularity allows us to look over certain details.
ReplyDeleteI think that if you start by elaborating your information and going deeper into the "why" of these pieces, then a strong thesis could be formed. However, I think that you could create a thesis off of the idea that the group/site puts all of their faith on their credibility.
