LEGO Ad: What it is is beautiful.

  1. For too long have logos been depicted just for boys, they are now for everyone as long as you are 12 or younger. The ad tells the audience that it is now okay for your daughter to play with logos too, she’ll even make you proud. This ad shifts the idea of what is normal for young girls to play with through a variety of rhetorical devices that may challenge, yet encourage families with more traditional views on gender norms to broaden their views.

  2. The idea of beauty that is depicted in this ad is very interesting. As you stated in your ad analysis both the little girl, who is dressed as a tomboy and her LEGO creation are not traditional forms of beauty. The ad makes an interesting commentary on beauty being in the eye of the beholder and not a universal standard. The little girl views her LEGO creation as beautiful and that is all that matters.

  3. The idea of what ever your child makes with LEGO is perfect for the product. The modular nature has it so although there are brands and sets with instructions LEGO brands it self as a playground for your child's imagination.
