Trump Calls for Bipartisanship, a Hard Line for Immigration
by Julie Pace and Catherine Lucey

..

One Sidedness
"One bright spot for the president has been the economy, which has added jobs for 100 straight months." (paragraph 20)

States the reason job opportunities have been increasing is because the economy has gotten better (due to the president). This statement is coming from the article itself, and fails to agree/refute other opinions and possible reasons why jobs have grown; including population growth, budding entrepreneurs, etc.

The Black or White Fallacy :
"If I had not been elected president of the United States, we would right now, in my opinion, be in a major war with North Korea," he said. (paragraph 14)

This argument comes from the president Donald Trump himself. It strongly implies that if any one else had been elected president, we would be in a major war. According to him, he is the ONLY REASON why we aren't in war with North Korea. While a lovely thought, this can't possibly be true as any other person elected president would have gone through precautions, and more importantly, the only country keeping North Korea from declaring war on anybody is North Korea itself. If a dictator wants to start war, they will, and no small talk is going to change that.
