Ad #6 Presentation Outline - Haley Slussler

Introduction:

 - Attention Getter: (Insert a fun joke or a good icebreaker.) 
 - Preview: My ad seems to be, or trying to attempt, a family brand ad. An advertisement where it looks like it appeals to all. It is not for children, but mostly for parents. 
 - Thesis: The issues with family friendly ads, and what makes family friendly ads work. 
- Argument: This ad cannot be appealing for the whole family.

 Body: Talk about brands being family friendly, what makes them work, and the ideas behind design. 

 Visuals: 

 - Open space (Space) 
 - High Contrast Lighting (Light) 
 - Eye Level Angle (Angle) 
 - Medium Shot (Implied Distance) 

 TRANSITION: (INSERT GOOD TRANSITION) 

 Tropes:

 - Stop after a good transition and try to make the conclusion well. 
 - Needs to sum up properly and give your all for this conclusion.
- My conclusion: This ad is family friendly, however it is not does appeal for the whole family. It does not fully understand its audience.

  1. The format is a bit off here, but it looks like you have your thoughts well organized! Be sure to add your citations and work on the pace of the points.

  2. You definitely have the idea down of what needs to be done, but I feel it needs to be more spaced if you were to use this, so you aren't squinting to make sure you do not get lost. Other than that, just add those citations and you got it!

  3. I like the content of this. I like the idea of a joke at the beginning of your speech, it makes things a little different. But I would say the way it is formatted is a little hard to follow because it is not spaced out. I can easily see where you are going to make your transitions, but I think it would be better if it was formatted up and down, not side to side.

  4. I think your outline is good, but starting off I think what you say for your argument should be your thesis. What you say for your thesis should be added to your preview. I think everything is good just add transitions and a clincher. But I guess remember to talk about the issues as well because I see that for your body you said talk about how the ad is family friendly. But what you say for your body is a good reminder though.
