  2. This one is kind of difficult to find a meaning, but it seems like it could be saying if you want to have a bright happy day then you should drink Diet Coke with lemon due to the background reminding me of a sunny morning. The other possibility is that it could be like the idea of lemon in diet coke is a brilliant idea and if you want to be brilliant then that is what you should drink.

  3. While this advertisement does not initially appear to have a centralized message; a deeper interpretation of this advertisement can be made. I believe it is correct to assume that the primary goal of this Ad is to create a new sector within the carbonated beverage market. Coca-Cola is attempting to introduce a product in order to increase overall sales. Coca-Cola is playing on the fact that the American public easily buys into trends. The ‘health trend’ has consumed public interest and the new diet soda is exactly what consumers desire. The focus of this ad is to market the health factor of the new 'diet soda’ in order to reach a new consumer audience.

  4. I think the yellow background and the fact that it's "lemon" flavored makes this such a pretty ad to look at. It looks like the target audience for this is for the younger population because the girl does look younger and the "ooh" text kind of seems like something young people say, especially with it being italicized. To me, this one is kind of hard to decipher.

  5. This ad is very basic to me but then I realized that may be the purpose. With the women being below in a yellow background and the soda being somewhat over her head it makes me think of a lightbulb going off. It feels like coke is trying to promote their new lemon Diet Coke by showing the consumer this is a bright new idea that they have come up with.

  6. Coca-Cola is trying to highlight their new flavor of bear age in this ad. By having the beverage appear as an idea, it makes it seem like adding lemon to a drink was Coke’s original idea. It wasn’t. They also attempt to appeal to minorities as the person in the add, is an African-American female. This suggests that Coke is drank by all, and that everyone loves their new flavor. This advertisement was clearly not successful as I have never seen a Lemon Coca-Cola.

  7. The main focus of the ad is the Diet Coke with Lemon can and the woman looking up at it. In the bottom half of the ad that focuses on the woman, she has a yellow background that surrounds her. With the yellow background and the way she is looking up at the can, it makes it look like her day brightens up when she thinks about the diet coke with lemon. On the Coke half, the can being the only thing with bright colors makes it stand out against the white background.
