I did not notice at first, but then I was like, "Oh cool! I get this reference!" lol. In all seriousness though, this poster, first of all, represents Rosie the Riveter. She was an icon for women during World War II, which was a really empowering time for women as they started to work in jobs that typically only men did. This is something else though that is unique about this poster and that is the fact that it has Emma Watson at the face, who played Hermoine Granger in Harry Potter. This is reinforced by the wand in her hand as well as the Deathly Hallows faintly in the background.
This represents women as powerful and smart figured, hence the combination of two prominent female icons that represent women positively. The Granger/Riveter amalgamation uses a geometric perspective to not only make her look more real but also seem more defined and muscular as well. While I would not say the space is exactly fully open, there is some to the right of her and this was partially filled up with a transparent Deathly Hallows. The biggest part, no surprise, is the fact that these two characters are icons as they support a powerful narrative about women. We can see that Rosie the Riveter is not being replaced by Granger, but she is being more modernized to help people today better understand the context of what Rosie would've represented in WII. This was my favorite picture out of all of them and I think the clash between historical value and present-day fictional value blend together well to create a great visual representation of just how powerful women can be.
